The station responded on 12/7/2021:

Thanks for making me aware of the Beatles ban. I wasn't even two years old when this event occurred. My family purchased WLSC in 2007. There have been quite a few owners since 1966.

Throughout my nearly 40 year career in broadcasting, I've played Beatles music and lots of songs recorded by the individual members of The Beatles. I'm a fan. I've even publicly performed those songs.

I'd love to have a link to the story you referenced. I'm not sure if WLSC will issue an apology, but I will give it some thought. We never knew about the ban, but here in the South we do love Jesus. For the record, I'm a bigger fan of Jesus that the Fab Four, but we currently play Beatles music and many solo recordings on WLSC Tiger Radio. I expect that to continue until Jesus or John Lennon returns.

I'd love to visit your website and see what others are saying.

God Bless
