KMIL banned The Beatles!

Evidence of the Ban:

According to the Associated Press (as printed in the Asbury Park Press on August 4, 1966) a spokesperson for KMIL declared, "We're through with them, period." The station's general manager and news director Gene Smitherman later told the AP (as printed in The Victoria Advocate on August 16, 1966) that "his station's response had been 98 per cent in favor of the band and it will continue."

Smitherman was further quoted by the AP (as printed in The Brazosport Facts in Freeport, Texas on August 16, 1966), "I feel sorry for John Lennon for the anxiety all this must have caused him, but his remarks did cause the name of Jesus to be read, heard and spoken by millions. The Lord does move in mysterious ways."

Notes:

In 1966, KMIL featured on their broadcast schedule 10 hours of country music and 7 hours of Czechoslovakian music each week.
