Evidence of the Ban:

The Associated Press reported (as printed in Idaho's Lewiston Morning Tribune on August 4, 1966), "Cliff Wayne, program director at KSEM, issued a release of the management of the station saying, 'When a group believes they are greater than their creator perhaps they are just too big.'"


The Lewiston Morning Tribune also stated on August 5, 1966, "To date in Idaho and Washington, the Beatles have been banned by radio station KTEE at Idaho Falls, KSPO at Spokane and KSEM at Moses Lake."
