According to Idaho's Lewiston Morning Tribune on August 5, 1966, "To date in Idaho and Washington, the Beatles have been banned by radio station KTEE at Idaho Falls, KSPO at Spokane and KSEM at Moses Lake."

At the time of the ban, KSPO appears to have played predominantly country music.
